Caitlyn Adamonis, MA, LPCC
Owner & Therapist
I'm Caitlyn, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the owner of Sunward Therapy LLC. I provide individual counseling for children, teens, and adults, with a particular focus on helping children navigate anxiety, big emotions, life changes, executive functioning challenges, relationship challenges, and everyday stressors.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy should feel supportive and genuine while also helping clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes.
My Approach
I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. Feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported creates the space for meaningful growth and change.Â

Therapy looks different for every person. With children, I use developmentally adapted approaches that may include play, creativity, movement, and conversation to help them express themselves and build skills in ways that fit their age and needs.Â

With teens and adults, therapy may incorporate CBT and DBT informed strategies, emotional regulation skills, and supportive exploration. When working with children, I also value appropriate parent involvement and aim to help parents feel supported while still protecting the child's therapeutic space.
